El Mouradi Gammarth Hotel, Gammarth

I was truly lucky to end up with a good room at the hotel, even though some parts of the rooms are dated and in need of refurbishing. The service was a bit of a mixed bag; while some of the staff were jewels, others, unfortunately, came across as quite rude. The location near the sea and close to a Carrefour market was a definite plus, but the vibe of the area felt crowded and messy. The dining experience, although on the pricier side, was top-notch in terms of food quality. Overall, a decent stay with some ups and downs.

The hotel offers modern and comfortable rooms with good ventilation and WiFi, although the check-in process initially delayed my wait. The service was a mix of helpfulness at the reception and some instances of mistakes, such as giving my room keys to someone else. The location is convenient near the sea and Carrefour market but a bit far from the city center. The dining experience provided a standard selection but lacked variety. Overall, the hotel features clean and good amenities, suitable for a moderately-priced stay.

I had a peaceful stay in a quiet room at the end of the corridor where I could rest without disturbances. The packing space was ample for all my shopping items from the two weeks exploring Tunisia. However, there was some background machinery noise like an exhaust fan.
